4 Changes That Impact Individual and Family Members
During and following our upgrade, there will be some small changes that impact your Individual Product (IP) clients. We want you to be aware of them in case your clients have questions for you.
- IP Account Structure is Changing
- Family units will now be combined, meaning one family member will be listed as the primary subscriber and additional family members will be managed within the same account and will all have the same subscriber ID number. Communication and correspondence will only be sent to the primary subscriber, who will also receive a new ID card. The primary subscriber will also be the only one who can log in/register for an online member account to manage the plan.
- New ID Cards and Logins
- IP members' existing ID cards will no longer be valid. Primary subscribers will receive a new card which will contain their new account details. New ID cards will be sent by mail by the end of September. In the meantime, digital versions will be available in the DDKS mobile app and in online member accounts.
- Online Enrollment Shopping Site Outage
- Members and prospective members cannot currently purchase and enroll in Individual and Family plans on our online enrollment shopping site. The site will resume functionality on September 10th.
- New Custom Enrollment Link
- Your custom enrollment link has changed. You can access your new link once logged into your new broker account. Your clients will need to use your new link to shop for insurance when the shopping site is fully functional.
