- The Accessible Oral Health 2025 ECHO series aims to build confidence in dental teams to better serve people with disabilities. Through didactic and case-based learning, participants will learn about intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), gain strategies and resources to improve care for patients with IDD, and discover ways to cultivate interprofessional collaboration to better support oral care patients with IDD.
- Session topics will include: A Multidisciplinary Approach to Inclusive Oral Health Care, Behavioral Strategies to Improve Patient Experience and Cooperation, Creating a Sensory-Inclusive Dental Office Environment, and Fostering an Accessible and Welcoming Environment in the Dental Office.
