3 Key Things to Note About the Upgrade
As part of our technology upgrade, there are a few small yet significant changes to your online employer account that we want you to be aware of in advance.
1. Your Group Number is Changing
Following the upgrade, your group number will have 11 digits and will beign with six zeros, e.g. 00000012345.
How we structure your account internally is also changing so you may see some other new numbers on your documents, but your 11-digit group number is all you need to note.
2. You Will Need to Reset Your Password (But Not Your Username)
When the new online employer account is live you will need to create a new password within 7 days. You will receive an automatic email prompting you to change your password and we will remind you before and after.
The URL of your account will also change so you will need to update any bookmarks along with your saved passwords. Your username will migrate to the new system. The new URL will be included in your password reset email.
3. We're Changing Some Terminology
Termination coverage dates will have a formatting change and will now be displayeed as the first day without coverage. This does not impact the dates of your members' coverage; it is simply a change of language. If you currently send enrollment via electronic file, you do not need to adjust your file—any changes will adjust automatically.
Example: Jane's coverage runs up to and including July 31, so her termination date is shown as August 1—the first day without coverage. The dates of Jane's Coverage have not changed.
