We’ve Made Some Changes
Delta Dental of Kansas (DDKS) has recently undergone a technology upgrade to help us better serve all our customers and members.
The impacts on you as a DDKS member are minimal but there are some small changes we'd like you to be aware of.
What You Need to Know
1. Your Account Structure is Changing
If you have a DDKS Family plan, your family unit will now be combined, meaning one family member will be listed as the primary subscriber. Additional family members will be managed within the same account and will all have the same subscriber ID number. If you have an Individual plan, you are already the primary subscriber. Communication and correspondence will only be sent to the primary subscriber. The primary subscriber will also be the only one who can log in/register for an online member account to manage the plan.
2. New ID Cards and Logins
Your existing ID cards will no longer be valid. The primary subscriber on your plan will receive a new card which will contain your new account details. New ID cards will be sent by mail by the end of September. In the meantime, digital versions will be available in the DDKS mobile app and in your online member accounts.
