Early Enrollment for Multi-Factor Authentication

You can now enroll early in multi-factor authentication (MFA) for your Delta Dental online dentist account. MFA adds an extra step to your sign-in process and protects sensitive patient information from unauthorized access.

What is MFA?

MFA is an added security step when signing in. After entering your username and password, Delta Dental sends a one-time code by email or text message. You enter this code to verify your identity and complete authentication. This added layer of security makes it much harder for cybercriminals to access your account, even if they know your password.

What to Expect:

Enrolling early ensures a smooth transition before MFA becomes required on October 20.

  • Today through October 19, 2025, MFA enrollment is open and optional.
  • October 20, 2025: MFA becomes required to access your online dentist account.

After enrolling, you'll use your password plus a verification code each time you sign in.
